Miu Miu and New Balance revealed the capsule collection Coco Gauff will wear at Wimbledon 2026 on June 23, one week before the Championships open on June 29 at London’s All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. The collection is already generating more attention than most things happening in fashion this week, which is saying something given the city it launched in.

What Miu Miu Built Around the All-White Rule

Wimbledon’s all-white dress code is one of the strictest in professional sports. For a house known for irreverence and an offbeat sensibility, that is a real creative constraint. Miu Miu worked through construction and detail rather than colour, and the result reads unmistakably Italian and unmistakably tennis at once.

The pieces are made from performance-focused stretch jersey. A one-piece tennis dress borrows from lingerie with scalloped edges along necklines and seams. A pleated skirt employs an open back and discreet splits for lightness and movement. Outerwear is built in Silk Tec, a lightweight fabric that provides protection and structure while remaining breathable.

Windbreakers, tank tops, tennis skirts, and athletic dresses are all crisp white with navy blue piping. All garments feature the joint Miu Miu and New Balance logo in navy and red. Co-branding is kept to controlled flashes.

Gauff explained that the capsule offers four potential on-court looks: a classic tennis dress, a fitted tank top, a pleated skirt, and a lightweight windbreaker designed for pre-match warmups. She added that advancing through the draw is part of her motivation to wear each one.

The Shoes: New Balance 530 SL Deco Leather

The New Balance 530 SL returns in a new deco leather build, offered in two colourways: white for on court and dark brown for street and sideline. Both feature a double set of laces in brown leather and white cotton cord, perforated underlays, and brown gum rubber outsoles. The fit sits slimmer than the original 530, closer in proportion to a vintage tennis shoe than a running trainer.

Monochrome branding, weathered leather, and mismatched laces. Previous Miu Miu x New Balance drops have sold out quickly. This one is expected to move the same way. Previous Miu Miu x New Balance drops have sold out quickly. This one is expected to move the same way.

Coco Gauff on Designing Within Wimbledon's Rules

The 22-year-old has amassed eleven singles titles and climbed to number two in the Women’s Tennis Association rankings. She is seeded fourth at Wimbledon 2026 and is in her third season as the face of New Balance tennis. She is the only WTA player with her own signature shoe.

Speaking about the challenge of designing for the Championships to British Vogue, she said, “Obviously, Wimbledon is the most traditional, if not the biggest, event we have in tennis. You have to wear all white, so there were some limitations.” She has four silhouettes to choose from across the week. That is the whole wardrobe, and Miu Miu built every piece of it around the same brief.

Coco Gauff x Miu Miu x New Balance: The London Launch

The new capsule was displayed at the Miu Miu flagship on New Bond Street against bright green felt, recalling the Wimbledon grass court. New renditions of the Vivant bag featured sporty mesh panelled leather, alongside white monogrammed tennis balls carrying the collaboration logo in navy and red. Gauff spent the evening greeting guests and signing autographs. She also took a turn at the decks.

The Coco Gauff x Miu Miu x New Balance collection is available now through Miu Miu in-store and online, in unisex sizing, for a limited period.

Inside the Miu Miu x New Balance Partnership

This is the second Wimbledon capsule from the M iu Miu x New Balance partnership, which launched in 2024. Gauff has also worn the joint collection at the Italian Open, the Cincinnati Open, and the Berlin Grass Court Tournament. Each drop has returned to the same premise: performance pieces built with the detailing of a fashion collection rather than a kit.

The timing sits well for Miu Miu. The brand posted retail sales growth of 35 percent year on year in 2025, against an already exceptional comparison base of 93 percent growth in 2024, while the wider Prada Group recorded net revenues of €5.718 billion, marking 20 consecutive quarters of growth. That kind of sustained momentum across a difficult two years for the luxury sector is not common. A Wimbledon capsule with one of the most commercially powerful athletes in women’s sport is exactly the kind of cultural positioning that keeps it going.

Whether that holds through another major tournament cycle is the more interesting question than this single drop answers on its own.
