Moncler unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 footwear range this month, including an update to the Trailgrip franchise, new seasonal boots, and three collaborations with Clarks Originals, Rick Owens, and Moon Boot.
Clarks’ classic Wallabees are getting a technical upgrade with a breathable, waterproof GORE-TEX lining. The upper comes in soft khaki or beige suede elevated by Moncler’s Trailgrip Vibram rubber sole. The result is a moccasin silhouette with Moncler’s outdoor practicality. This comfort update for both city streets and mountain trails releases in early September on Moncler’s official website and select high-end luxury retailers.
Moncler and Rick Owens’ recurring collaboration returns with the Trailgrip Megalace. These avant-garde shoes have a leather panel and a Vibram Megagrip sole for traction and grip. A sculptural padded collar, a rear-lacing system, and a curved upper panel give these shoes a bold silhouette. Designed in black with beige laces and cloud grey with beige laces, Trailgrip Megalace sports an EVA midsole for flexibility and an OrthoLite insole for breathability.
Moncler and Owens’ creative relationship started in 2020, built around a custom touring bus and ‘living project’ concept unveiled at Milan Fashion Week. The collection featured metallic puffer jackets, quilted duvets, and elongated utilitarian shapes, putting Owens’ dark aesthetic alongside Moncler’s functional outerwear.
Their next collaboration brought together Owens’ monochrome, geometric design and Moncler’s cocoon-like outerwear for the Fall/Winter 2024 collection. ‘Brucolic’ marked their first Spring/Summer partnership in 2026, merging concrete brutalism with summer outdoor utility. The key pieces were lightweight nylon jackets, kilt-style shorts, and Trailgrip Megalace sneakers.
Moncler Grenoble and Moon Boot teamed up on the Icon High Rodeo, debuting at Moncler Grenoble’s Fall/Winter 2026 runway show in Aspen. These all-altitude suede designs combine snow-boot functionality with cowboy-inspired detailing. They have nubuck leather inserts and embroidered detailing with nappa leather for the heel and band. Offered in chestnut and caribou colourways, the Icon High Rodeo launches in late November.
Apart from collaborations, Moncler will refine its Trailgrip staples and expand cold-weather footwear. Trailgrip GTX, Moncler’s luxury high-performance outdoor sneaker, will exchange its muted palette for orange and lilac. Launched for Fall/Winter 2022, these designs feature a GORE-TEX membrane, a grippy Vibram Megagrip rubber sole, and OrthoLite insoles for long-term cushioning.
Urban and versatile, Trailgrip Lite3, first introduced in 2023, continues Moncler’s push towards warm-weather outdoor activities. Built with a nubuck, suede, and knit fabric upper, Lite3 carries Trailgrip’s standard EVA midsole and Vibram Megagrip rubber sole for flexibility and grip.
Pairing high-end luxury sneaker design with alpine performance, the Trailgrip Apex GTX is finished in premium hairy suede across two colourways. They have a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane and a hidden carbon-fibre plate for stability and support.
Trailgrip Craft, a rugged hybrid sneaker, swaps in suede and nubuck leather for a dressier upper while keeping its performance outdoor elements, such as Vibram rubber tread and carbon fibre support.
Moncler’s winter boot experiments extend beyond the Tailtrip collection. Vera Edge, a rugged, leather women’s ankle boot, features a smooth calfskin upper and elasticated side panels. They now arrive in all-black and black-and-burgundy colourways with a TPU sole. These luxury city boots are intended for city wear through colder months. On the other hand, Men’s Vera Pulse has a waterproof rainboot silhouette. A sock-like knit ankle collar, a rounded toe, a pull-on design, and a heavy-duty, chunky treaded rubber sole finish the look.
Cut from smooth leather with dyed shearling, Peak Snowcap is a winter-ready ankle boot. Merging high-mountain vibes and urban cold environments, the nappa leather and merino wool lining provide extra warmth. A stronger visual approach is evident in Peak Après through its suede and technical nylon accents. Joining the lineup is the Altive Mid snow boot, which has a toggle lacing system and a boudin-quilted upper.
Release dates across the Moncler Fall/Winter collection: several Trailgrip and Vera styles are available now; the Clarks collaboration lands in early September; and both the Rick Owens Megalace colourways and the Moon Boot Icon High Rodeo arrive in late November, via Moncler boutiques, its websites, and select retailers.
