Aerin has released Amber Musk Pistache, a limited-edition flanker to its 2013 original, priced at $155 for a 50 ml Eau de Parfum. e.l.f. Cosmetics and Bubble have separately launched the Hybrid Holy Grails Collection, a three-piece skincare-makeup line. UK shoppers get first access: Boots carries the collection in stores and online from August 6, three days ahead of the collection’s US retail debut at Target on August 9. The line also goes live globally on elfcosmetics.com, the e.l.f. app, and Bubble.com from August 7.
Aerin Amber Musk Pistache Expands the Amber Musk Collection
The scent opens with pistachio cream folding into almond blossom, a contrast the brand describes as sweet against floral. Vanilla and golden amber move in next, thickened by rose centifolia and sandalwood. Coconut and tonka bean round out the base. The fragrance is built around an artisanal pastry shop concept, with Aerin’s own copy describing creamy confections, marzipan, and soft florals as the intended mood.
The original Amber Musk built its following on ambroxan, benzoin, and a creamy musk base that reads as more skin scent than statement spray. Amber Musk Vanille arrived in 2025 with marshmallow and orange blossom notes, wrapping the same amber-musk core in something closer to toasted campfire sweetness. Unlike the original Amber Musk, which launched as a women’s fragrance, Vanille was formulated for both women and men. Pistache trades marshmallow for pistachio, pushing the confectionery angle further while keeping the amber-musk base intact across all three versions.
Amber Musk sits within Aerin’s Amber and Woods grouping, one of four fragrance families the brand organizes its collection around, alongside Rose and Peony, Jasmine and Tuberose, and Bergamot and Mandarin. Bottle shapes across the range draw on the outlines of gemstones rather than a standard flacon silhouette, a packaging choice that has held since Aerin launched the fragrance line in 2013.
Beyond the Eau de Parfum, the wider Amber Musk range includes a body cream and travel spray sold as part of the same collection. Aerin Lauder has previously described the original Amber Musk as a scent meant for cooler weather, one she reaches for on a night out or an evening at home by the fire, according to the brand’s own product copy.
Aerin Amber Musk Pistache is stocked through the brand’s usual US department store partners, including Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, and Dillard’s, alongside aerin.com and esteelauder.com.
Hybrid Holy Grails Collection Combines e.l.f. and Bubble Bestsellers
Described by both companies as a first-of-its-kind collaboration, the Hybrid Holy Grails Collection fuses one hero product from each brand into a single dual-format item, spanning three pairings. Drop N’ Dunk combines e.l.f.’s Bronzing Drops with Bubble’s Slam Dunk Hydrating Cream Moisturizer, packaged in a dual-chamber bottle that keeps the two formulas separate until the moment of use. Glow Talk pairs e.l.f.’s Glow Reviver Lip Balm with Bubble’s Talk Back Lip Serum. Camo Slide merges e.l.f.’s Camo Liquid Blush with Bubble’s Water Slide Hyaluronic Acid Serum.
Prices run from $10 to $18, with Drop N’ Dunk sitting at the top of that range and arriving in three shades: Fair Gold, Copper Gold, and Pure Gold. Glow Talk and Camo Slide come in Berry Well, Pinky Promise, and Dusty Rose. The collection was announced on August 3, according to a press release listed on the e.l.f. Beauty investor site, and involves e.l.f. SKIN alongside e.l.f. Cosmetics as a named co-developer of the line. Both brands sit under parent company e.l.f. Beauty, which trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker ELF.
Shai Eisenman, Bubble’s founder and chief executive, told WWD the bronzing drop pairing had been requested by the brand’s community since 2022, specifically as a combination with Slam Dunk. The teams built packaging that lets both formulas exist side by side and mix only when squeezed together.
Eisenman founded Bubble in 2020 after spending time researching what Gen Z skincare buyers wanted from a brand built around their price points and shopping habits rather than their parents’. The company has since expanded into more than 17,000 retail doors across the US, UK, Australia, and Canada, including Target, Walmart, Ulta Beauty, and Boots, and has completed more than 115 clinical studies across its product portfolio since launch.
The joint press release announcing the collection describes it as built on “an insight hiding in plain sight,” pointing to beauty communities already mixing and layering skincare and makeup products on their own, ahead of any formal collaboration between the two brands. Bubble’s UK footprint already runs through Boots and ASOS, part of a retail network the brand has built out across North America, the UK, Australia, and the Middle East.
The collection marks e.l.f.’s latest cross-brand tie-up following its recent Meghan Trainor Cloud Skin campaign, which paired existing Halo Glow products with a custom merchandise bundle. Drop N’ Dunk, Glow Talk, and Camo Slide instead required new packaging engineering, the dual-chamber format built specifically to keep two separate formulas apart until use.
