Beautyworld Middle East has become Beautyworld Dubai. The event returns to Dubai World Trade Centre from 6 to 8 October 2026 for its 30th edition, organised as before by Messe Frankfurt Middle East.
Teresa Heitor, Portfolio Director of Consumer Goods at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said the ambition is to deliver the world’s most internationally diverse professional beauty platform. The 30th edition runs across four live stages this year: The Makeup Studio, Next in Beauty, BeautyLive, and Next in Fragrance, each carrying its own dedicated programming across the three-day show.
Fragrance is the standout growth area for this year’s show. The category moves into a dedicated hall at Za’abeel 7 for the first time. Attendees will find over 220 fragrance exhibitors across 19,000 square metres. New names on the fragrance floor include Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics. Two established Gulf perfume houses, Kuwait’s Gissah and Saudi Arabia’s Al Majed for Oud, will also be part of the line-up.
The show’s fragrance conference programme, Next in Fragrance, returns for a second year following a debut edition that drew more than 80 speakers across 26 sessions. Dullberg Kozentra is sponsoring this year’s programme. It covers ingredients, niche fragrance culture, artificial intelligence, travel retail, and the business of scent. Aurélien Guichard, creative director and co-founder of Matière Première and senior perfumer at Takasago, headlines the programme on its opening day.
Alongside the conference, the show runs the Signature Scent activation, where visitors sample scents created by international fragrance houses specifically for Beautyworld Dubai and vote for their favourite. Marc Cuesta won the 2025 edition with a composition called Lumière D’Orient.
Natural Notes returns for a second edition with growers and raw material producers. You get to trace the story behind every scent. Alta Oils from Bulgaria, Capua from Italy, Jasmine Concrete Exports Private Limited from India, PT Van Aroma from Indonesia, and FP Aromatics from Singapore are all part of the vision. The line-up reads like a map of where fragrance actually starts.
Mary Phillips, founder of M.Ph and an artist known for some of Hollywood’s most recognisable red-carpet looks, will headline The Makeup Studio stage. She’ll also be delivering a keynote address at the Next in Beauty event. Olivia Phillips, founder of The Desk and editor at large at Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, will be moderating the conversation. Patrick Ta closes day three with a dedicated masterclass.
The Next in Beauty conference runs a full three-day agenda alongside the talent line-up, with sessions on investment trends, luxury retail, and beauty technology. Mia Collins, Head of Beauty at Harrods, speaks on the future of luxury beauty retail on day one.
Day three includes a session titled Glow Across Borders, looking at K-beauty, A-beauty, and C-beauty products and what sets each region’s approach apart. The timing tracks: NIQ’s K-Beauty Goes Global report puts Middle East e-commerce growth for K-beauty at 76% year-over-year.
Next is the show’s dedicated hair stage. Dimitris Giannetos opens beautyLIVE with a two-hour masterclass on day one. Giannetos has styled Gigi Hadid, Amal Clooney, and Camila Cabello. Josh Lamonanca, British Men’s Hairdresser of the Year 2025/2026 and co-founder and head of education at Mespire, will be part of beautyLIVE.
The show’s format also includes celebrating the best in hair, makeup, and fragrance. The Beautyworld Dubai Awards will be honouring those who set the benchmark in the beauty industry on 7 October 2026. The judging panel includes creative minds from across the board, from Kelly Kovack, founder and chief executive of BeautyMatter, to Dory Younes, fragrance expert. Last year’s winners included GHD, through Nazih Group, for Hair Styling Device of the Year; MÄNN Skincare for Male Grooming Product of the Year; and OMANLUXURY for Niche Fragrance of the Year.
Beautyworld’s 2025 edition drew visitors from 178 countries. International attendance rose 31 per cent year on year, according to the organisers. They attributed the increase partly to buyers travelling to Dubai specifically to source Gulf-made brands.
The Dubai World Trade Centre describes the fair as the region’s definitive platform for the multi-billion-dollar beauty industry. The 30th edition marks three decades of the show running in Dubai under Messe Frankfurt Middle East’s organisation.
Dubai has historically served as a regional distribution hub for international beauty brands. Products enter the market through local distributors before reaching buyers across the Gulf. That distribution role built the infrastructure organisers now point to when discussing the city’s newer position as an export market for Gulf-founded brands.
Exhibitors at this year’s show cover cosmetics, skincare, hair care, nail care and personal care, alongside dedicated sections for beauty technology and luxury packaging suppliers. Discovery zones set aside for independent brands and start-ups sit alongside these established categories, giving newer companies floor space next to longer-running exhibitors.
The rebrand and the fragrance hall expansion stand as the two most substantial changes to the show’s format this year. Both arrive as Beautyworld Dubai enters its fourth decade.
