Luxury fashion house Balmain has officially appointed Antonin Tron as its new Creative Director, ushering in a refined and modern era for the storied French maison. Born in Paris in 1984, Tron studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp before refining his craft at Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, and Balenciaga, later launching his own label in 2016. His signature lies in merging technical tailoring with emotional storytelling, a creative approach that is expected to define Balmain’s next artistic era.
Tron’s debut collection for Balmain, expected during the Fall/Winter 2026-27 show in Paris, will serve as a pivotal moment for the brand. His appointment follows a period of transition and re strategization within the companies’ leadership, marking a deliberate move toward sustainability, artistry, and design longevity.
