Toteme, the Swedish label built on minimalist womenswear, has launched its first menswear collection. The line spans denim, outerwear, shirting, knitwear, footwear, and accessories.
Behind it sits Alexander Häggblad, the former Head of Design Menswear at Celine, who has worked alongside Toteme co-founder Karl Lindman on the category since March 2025.
Kling and Lindman started Toteme in New York before relocating the label to Stockholm in 2016.
Kling had spent years building a following through her style blog, Style By Kling, while Lindman came from a design director role at Interview Magazine. Over a decade, the pair turned that foundation into one of fashion’s most consistent quiet luxury names, prized for restrained silhouettes and a tightly edited colour story. Menswear had never been part of the offer.
Inside Toteme AW26 Womenswear Collection
The menswear debut lands in the same year Toteme reworked its own womenswear mood. The label opened 2026 by showing its AW26 collection in its Paris showroom, built around a sculptural silhouette rendered mostly in black with a run of cherry red through the range. Buttery leather appeared lined with cashmere; pierced-toe leather pumps gave the looks an edge. A biker-coded update of the Mercer tote sat alongside the T-lock bag, worn slung on ornamental chains.
Elsewhere, Kling softened the label’s usual tailoring lines, introducing a high-waisted silhouette in feather-light knitwear cut from ribbed wool. It is against that backdrop, sharper in places, softer in others, that the first menswear pieces arrive.
Toteme Menswear Collection: Denim, Knitwear, and Accessories
The brand describes its menswear philosophy as a direct and decisive way of dressing, achieved through sumptuous fabrics, rich textures, and graphic silhouettes.
The denim bottom wear (€340) opens with a straight-leg, five-pocket style in raw organic cotton, offered in white and black, each finished with a tonal topstitched patch outline along the pocket. The deep indigo version moves into different territory: the same straight-leg cut, but woven in Osaka by Kurabo, with a patch shadow effect replacing the topstitching. A matching trucker jacket (€590) carries the same Kurabo fabric and the same shadow detail at the neck.
Outerwear carries the most range in construction, including a relaxed coat in dark navy (€1200). Cut from soft double-weave wool, the piece has dropped shoulders, aiming for volume without stiffness. The black shell jacket (€680) uses water-resistant technical nylon and a hood that tucks away when not needed, making it the collection’s most functional piece.
The liner jacket (€720) takes a different approach entirely: lightly padded nylon on the outside and, on the inside, a lining printed with an 18th-century map of Stockholm. Shirting stays quieter on the surface but carries its own small flourish. The casual pocket shirt (€340), in white garment-washed cotton poplin, hides a crown emblem inside the placket.
The shrunken cotton poplin work shirt (€390), in white and cobalt, opts for a chest pocket and a decorative top button. A classic white T-shirt (€230) and a black cashmere crew (€580) round out the layering pieces, both left without additional detailing.
Accessories close the drop-out. The moccasin loafer (€670), in glossed leather, is the collection’s only footwear entry yet. The Shield sunglasses (€390), offered in dark Havana and black, feature a sculpted profile and a single metal plaque. A narrow off-white silk tie (€220) patterned with woven dots and finished in matte is the drop’s only tie and overtly formal piece.
Toteme FW26 Womenswear Prices and Availability
On the womenswear side, the FW26 is already live for purchase. A slouch waist jersey top in white sits at 180 euros, while a nappa parachute jacket in black tops the range at 2,190 euros. Bags land at the upper end too: the Mercer nubuck tote in black is priced at 1,790 euros, and a small belted grained-leather tote in cashew comes in at 850 euros. Footwear included deconstructed stretch nappa boots in black at 1,090 euros and scarf nappa slingbacks in cashew at 720 euros. Knitwear spans a wide band, from a merino cotton crew knit at 550 euros up to an oversized lambswool turtleneck at 750 euros. Several pieces, including a pair of double-pleat fluid trousers and an elongated Byzantine necklace, will be coming soon.
Toteme currently operates two stores in London, on Sloane Street and at its Mount Street flagship, alongside locations in New York, Los Angeles, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris, and its newest store in Miami.
