Pandora will release a 17-piece jewellery collaboration with Dame Pat McGrath on October 8, sold through Pandora stores and pandora.net globally, priced from $58 to $250.
McGrath has spent three decades leaving her mark on some of fashion’s most talked-about runway moments, from the crystal-studded lips she created for Christian Dior‘s spring 2013 show to the elaborate period-inspired looks she led a fifty-artist team through backstage at Vogue World: Hollywood in 2025. The Power of Colour translates that same instinct for texture and pigment into metal, enamel and stone.
The collection leans on motifs pulled straight from her beauty career. Glossy lip charms come lacquered in deep grape and crimson tones, echoing the lipstick shades she has built her name on. One design cups a small red heart inside a manicured hand; another renders a lipstick tube mid-squeeze, finished with a scribble of crystal paint standing in for a smear of colour.
The most detailed piece, a reversible Beating Heart charm, works its way from a pavé of blood-red crystals at the centre out to blush pink at the edges, with tiny stones tracing lines meant to suggest arteries; the reverse side carries the engraving “Gorgeous” beneath a single red stone. Other medallions carry phrases associated with McGrath herself, including “Stunning my love,” picked out in gold with slivers of pink and red stone. Gold runs through the whole range as a base tone, a nod to the gold pigment that was the debut product at Pat McGrath Labs a decade ago, with purple and red worked in throughout.
McGrath has described makeup and jewellery as fundamentally the same pursuit, telling Harper’s Bazaar that both forms of decoration work with colour and minerals to bring out beauty in the wearer, differing mainly in how long they last: a makeup look fades by the end of the night, while a piece of jewellery can last for years. She has framed the Pandora capsule as a way of bridging that gap, turning something normally temporary into something built to stay with the person wearing it.
She worked directly with Pandora’s creative directors, Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli, translating her favourite motifs into physical form over an extended design process. Because Pandora built its identity on charms, the three of them focused the collection around small, personal pieces carrying McGrath’s signature sparkle. McGrath has said the pieces are meant to be layered and mixed across metals, describing the spirit she wanted as playful even where the individual designs are precise or dramatic.
The entry-level Lips of Love Mini Charm is as low as $58, with a second, more detailed version of the same charm at $75. The core Lips of Love Dangle Charm comes in two versions as well, at $98 and $115, while the Lips of Love Ring sits at $128 and its more elaborate Statement Ring counterpart reaches $170. At the top end, the Beating Heart Oversized Dangle Charm runs to $250, alongside a smaller Beating Heart Dangle Charm at $148. The Mystic Eye Lab-Grown Diamond Dangle Charm and the Mother of Beauty Medallion both land at $170, matching the Beauty Mantra Medallion, whose oversized counterpart climbs to $200. The Tube of Beauty Dangle Charm and Hand of Love Dangle Charm both sit at $148, the Tube of Beauty Drop Earring at $115, and the Hand of Love’s mixed-metal variant at $128.
The Power of Colour is Pandora’s second major creative-collaboration launch this year. In July, the brand introduced Pandora Wonders, a platform pairing Pandora each year with a different collaborator to reinterpret one of its signature materials. Its first chapter, made with British stylist Harry Lambert, centred on freshwater baroque pearls and debuted during Paris Haute Couture Week, with pieces hand-set by Pandora’s artisans using a micro-piercing technique developed specifically for the pearls. Pandora reported revenue of roughly DKK 32.5 billion, or €4.4 billion, in 2025, with its charm and carrier business making up the bulk of that figure.
McGrath founded Pat McGrath Labs in October 2015, self-funding the business through its first year after several years as global creative design director for Procter & Gamble, where she oversaw the Max Factor and CoverGirl brands. Its debut gold pigment kit sold out within minutes of launch with no advertising behind it, and the label went on to become the top-selling beauty brand at Selfridges and reach a billion-dollar valuation within a few years.
Her runway career predates Pat McGrath Labs by more than two decades, built alongside designers including John Galliano, Alexander McQueen and Miuccia Prada and photographer Steven Meisel, work that led Vogue’s Anna Wintour to call her, in 2007, “the most influential make-up artist in the world.” She was appointed an MBE in 2014, named a Dame in the Queen’s New Year 2021 Honours List, the first makeup artist to receive the title, and has, since March 2025, served as creative director of cosmetics at Louis Vuitton, appointed to build the house’s first beauty line.
